Valedictorian Brock Giles

Brock Giles is the son of Bill Giles and Joli Maroney. He graduated with a 3.84 GPA. Brock participated in many activities during his four years of high school.

Basketball all four years; TABC All-Region Player his sophmore, junior, and senior years, Basketball District Newcomer freshman year, Area Newcomer sophmore year, District Offensive Player of the Year junior year and District MVP his senior year.

Baseball three years; sophmore District Newcomer, junior First Team All-District.

Four year Cross Country: Regional Qualifier three years; State Qualifier three years.

UIL: Two year Current Issues and Events Regional Qualifier; two years Social Studies Regional Qualifier; sophmore Number Sense Regional Qualifier and sophmore year TMSCA State Math and Number Sense.

Four years Beta; President senior year, Spanish Club two years, two years FCCLA, Web Master senior year, junior and senior year FCA, Treasurer senior year.

Brock received a $134,000 Morningside College Athletic/Academic Scholarship, $250 PTO/Booster Club Scholarship and a $250 Teneha Basketball All Tournament Scholarship.

 

 

 

Salutatorian Chase Richey

Chase is the son of Eric and Kristy Richey. Chase graduated with a 3.75 GPA. Perfect Attendance all four years.

Basketball: three year-District Champions, 2nd team All District, Regional Semifinalists, senior District Champions Defensive Player of the Year, Regional Quarterfinalists .Baseball: 1,2-2nd Team All District, 3-2nd Team All District, 4

Cross Country: junior-District; 2nd Place Team, Regional Runner-Up, State Qualifier, senior-District Champion, District; 2nd place team, Regional; 8th Place, State Qualifier. Track: sophmore year

UIL: senior year Number Sense. Beta: four years. FCCLA: four years. Secretary. FFA-Greenhand Degree, Adopt-a-Highway freshman and sophmore; FCA four years. A/B Honor all four years; Class Officer; senior Secretaty. Class Favorite freshman year: four years-Relay for Life.

Handicap Rodeo, senior; senior year Education Talent Search; Yearbook senior year ; junior year Student of the Month.

Chase received: $250 PTO/Booster Club Scholarship and $1500 Kiwanis Club Scholarship.
