Lady Bears Lose Overtime
"Squeaker" to Bloomburg

The Lady Bears traveled to Bloomburg to play a must win game for Bloomburg. Bloomburg took a seven point lead at halftime and keep the lead until the 4th quarter. In the 4th, the Lady Bears were mounting a come back when Becca Naylor fell to the ground and hit her neck. After an hour wait for them to transport her to the hospital. When finished the 4th quarter all knotted up at 38 points. "We went in to overtime with two starters out and just couldn't keep up with Bloomburg. Now its a must win for us Friday night to hold on to second place in district. Come out and support us while we fight to clinch the 2nd place seed." said Coach Toon.

Kaitlyn Hancock had another double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds while Jamie Goldsmith hit three 3-pointers to finish with 11 points. Katelyn Brown and Mikayla Potts put up 6 points, Kaci Powers finished with 5, Becca Naylor had 2 and Angie Alvarez made a free throw but the Lady Bears fell short at the end.

Next Game is Friday at Avinger at 6:00
