Sulphur Bluff FFA Member Places
in State Creed Speaking Contest

 

Casey Gore of the Sulphur Bluff FFA competed in the State Leadership Development Events at Sam Houston State University Campus, December 3-4, 2010. Casey competed in the FFA Greenhand Creed Speaking event and placed 6th overall and was the 1st place male Greenhand Creed Speaker in the State of Texas.

 

 

 

 

"This is a phenomenal thing for our school, as far as we know he is the first to compete at the state level in this event in the almost 70 years that the Chapter has been in existence," expressed Vocational Agriculture Teacher, Sotero Ramirez. "Casey has opened the door for other members to follow, and I look forward to the years to come with him returning next year and the other great competitors that we have in our chapter."
