The Lady Bears are Bidistrict champs for the 2nd year in a row beating Douglass again this year. It was a very evenly matched game through the first half. The Lady Bears found themselves down in the 2nd qtr but cut the lead to only one at halftime.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In the 3rd qtr, Sulphur Bluff came out firing and took the lead and never looked back. Douglass never gave up but the Bears offensively were too much for the Indians to handle tonight.

Leading the for the Bears with a double-double was Katelyn Brown with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Mikayla Potts free throws at the end put the finishing touches with 13 points, Jamie Goldsmith scored 8 points, Kaitlyn Hancock had 6, Becca Naylor made 4 freethrows, and Kaci Powers hit a 3 pointer.
