The Sulphur Bluff Lady Bear Volleyball Team participated in pool play, on Thursday, as they faced three opponents and gained experience for the upcoming season.

Results of the three games are as follows:

 

Game #1 vs. Quinland Ford 16-25, 13-25 Points: Powers 4, Bryant 3, Goldsmith 3, Brown 2, Greer 2  Aces: Powers 1

Game #2 vs. North Hopkins 16-25, 13-25 Points: Gold 3, Powers 3, Bryant 2

Game #3 vs. Trenton 25-20, 25-16  Points: Goldsmith 11, Bryant 9, Brown 6, Powers 4, Duncan 1, Sharp 2 

"It was great experience for the girls and even though we lost games to both Quinlan Ford and North Hopkins, the girls are beginning to learn to work together as a team, and showed some real improvement by the Trenton game," expressed Coach Toon. "The importance of these early games is to gain experience and to learn to work together as a team, before the actual season begins!"
