Brown and Bryant Named
Athletes of the Year at Sulphur Bluff

At the recent, Sulphur Bluff Athletics Banquet, awards were presented for the year, representing hours of outstanding effort on the court and field, as athletes were rewarded for their efforts.

Cheyenne Bryant was named Girls Athlete of the Year at Sulphur Bluff Thursday night at Sulphur Bluff's Sports Banquet. Cheyenne was a member of the volleyball team; the basketball team; the softball team, making 2nd team All-District pitcher; and the track team, making area qualifier in discus. Cheyenne's coach, Coach Toon, said, "Cheyenne was always willing to do whatever would work best for the team - not only in it for herself."

Blake Brown was named Boys Athlete of the Year at The Bluff. Blake was a member of the baseball team, earning All-District Pitcher of the Year; a member of the basketball team, making 2nd Team All-District; and a member of the cross country team. Blake's coach, Coach Moore, said, "Blake is a coach's player. He does what is asked of him without question."
