SSMS Student Wins Regional
Science Fair

Sulphur Springs Middle School 8th grader, Elida Miller, won first place in the local Science Fair, and advanced to the Regional Science Fair, where she also took home top honors. Elida's project involved genetics in horses and she figured the probability of a mare having a palomino foal, once she analyzed the color factors in the ancestors of the horse.

Elida's 8th Grade Science Teacher, Allison Irvin, accompanied her to the contest.
