Senior Citizens Make "Prayer" Shawls
For Hospice Patients

Kim Sledd, Hospice Plus Community Liason, led the meeting Monday morning at the Senior Citizens Center.   RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) and Hospice Plus have teamed up to form a Group of Knitters and Crochetters to make "Prayer Shawls" for Hospice Patients.     15 Ladies attended the first meeting.  They decided their  group would be called "Shawls for Love".     "Shawls for Love" will meet on the 4th Monday of every  month at 10:00 at the Senior Citizens Center.     The ladies can share patterns, ideas and yarn while having  a wonderful time while making the shawls.     If anyone is interested in helping make shawls please  contact Kim Sledd at (903)249-0648 or Karon Weatherman  (903) 885-1661.
