Prom King and Queen were James and Marcille Tucker, and Prince and Princess Gerald Pinkham and Tilly Bumgardner.
Who said there weren't palm trees in Hopkins County? It was Saturday night that the Senior Citizen's Activity Building was transformed into an Hawaiian Beach, complete with palm trees, grass skirts, tiki lights, and grass huts, as senior citizens arrived for the 2nd Annual Senior Citizen's Prom. The prom was sponsored by the Senior Citizen's Center, Texas Senior Care, Hopkins House, and Sulphur Springs Health and Rehab.
By popular vote, James and Marcille Tucker were selected as this year's Prom King and Queen. Prom Prince and Princess were Gerald Pinkham and Tilly Baumgardner.
Randal Voss Allstate Insurance was the sponsor for the Royalty crowns, tiaras, and sashes. And, a special thanks is extended to Flowerland Florist, Sulphur Springs Floral Etc., and Danna's Florist, for providing flowers for the royalty.

Attendees enjoyed a meal prepared by the Senior Citizen's staff and an evening of games, fun, and dancing.

Prom photos were provided by CVS Pharmacy and each prom attendee received a 5x7 photo as a momento.

A special thanks is extended to others who provided help with the prom. They include: Sudden Link, Chicken Express, Carriage House Manor, The Red Barn Cafe, Wayne and Dora Gross, Betty Landes, Country Village Salon, Amy Lippen at Country Village Salon, The Pilot Club, Brooks Hearing, Los Mochis, Exquisite Nails, Juan Pablos, B-B Steakhouse, and all of those who helped to decorate for the party.
Congratulations to our
Senior Citizens!!!!
