Illegal Sale of Alcohol
Down in Sulphur Springs

 

 

Sgt. Harold McClure with the Special Crimes Unit  of the Sulphur Springs Sheriff's Department, consisting of officers Plaxco, McClure, and Crouse, along with other agencies made two arrest at a location on 1225 Main street at 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 9th.   One arrest was made for an illegal sale of alcohol. Special Crimes Units Officers detained a man outside the residence for public intoxication.

 

 

At the location officers found 815 cans of beer and 2.1 grams of cocaine inside the home. The man arrested for the crime is also found to be an illegal alien known as Jesus Hernandez Luna. He was booked into the Hopkins County Jail by officers, where he remained pending a bond hearing, and posting of a bond.
