City Pool's Season

With temperatures in the 90's and humidity at record levels, it was an enthusiastic crowd that gathered at the City Pool in Buford Park, on Saturday, to celebrate "Splash Day," or the beginning of the pool's opening for the Summer 2008 season. Some 150 youth were ready to enter the pool on Saturday, as the pool officially opened for the season. Lifeguards were on hand to make certain that rules were obeyed and safety was a factor, so that everyone could enjoy themselves.

The City pool will be operating from 11:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., Monday thru Saturday and will be open from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m., on Sundays, throughout the summer season.

If you want to host a party at the pool, you must call (903)885-9446, to make reservations.

Derek Dickson and Jake Sant will be ready to assist you with your needs, as they will be among those working at the City Pool, this summer.
