Hopkins County Veterinarian Clinic & Pfizer Animal Health Contributes to Sulphur Springs FFA Chapter
The Hopkins County Veterinarian Clinic participated in a program that allowed Pfizer Animal Health customers to make donations to the local FFA chapter based on their purchases of the company’s animal health products.
A rebate on selected health products purchased from January 1 through March 31, 2011 allowed the vets at Hopkins County Vet Clinic to direct 1% of Pfizer animal health product sales to the Sulphur Springs FFA Chapter. As a result more than 200 FFA members will benefit from the support by funding chapter activities, scholarships and travel to contests.
“We at Pfizer understand the importance of developing tomorrow’s leaders in agriculture. With the purchase of health care products from Hopkins County Veterinarian Clinic, this program allows the community to take part in growing our future.” stated Brad Fain, Pfizer drug representative.

Hopkins County Veterinary Clinic is a mixed animal practice that has been established for over 30 years in Hopkins County. Hopkins County Vet Clinic has been a loyal supporter of the youth in our county by participating in programs such as the Pfizer/FFA vaccine sales and the annual Hopkins County Jr. Livestock Show.
Pfizer Animal Health, a business of Pfizer Inc., is a world leader in discovering and developing innovative animal vaccines and prescription medicines, investing an estimated $300 million annually in animal health product research and development.
"FFA is a great program that gives our local youth and future leaders hands on learning opportunities and tools that they will need to be able to step up and lead in our local community." stated Dr. Rob Sherman.
