Sulphur Springs Health & Rehab Host Garden Party
to Open New Alzheimers Unit, Tuesday

It was a wonderful afternoon of food, friends, and visiting, as Sulphur Srpings Health and Rehab Center, "threw out the welcome mat" and displayed their new Alzheimer's Unit Wing, to the community. The secure area will be devoted to Alzheimer's patients, giving them some added freedom in a secure setting, and privacy from other patients, as well.

 

 

 

 

 

The unit has been added on the east side of the current building, and will be devoted to caring for those individuals who are suffering from this disease. "We hope to give them a much more quality of life, and provide them with a secure setting, where they can spend quality time outside in the gated gardens, and enjoy nature," advised staff members, as they conducted tours through the facility, on Tuesday afternoon.

 

 

The focalpoint of the tour was the beautifully appointed refreshment table, that featured a creative fruit and cheese display, for the enjoyment of everyone. "That's too pretty to eat!" exclaimed one of the attendees. "It is absolutely beautiful!"
