Hosts Cookie & Cake Walk, Thursday

It was a fun day for residents and their families, on Thursday, as Sulphur Springs Health & Rehab Center hosted their own cookie and cake walk, to the delight of everyone. Residents were able to be posted around the activity room where numbers were places and as the music played, they made their way round the circle. Once the music stopped, the winning numbers were called!

 

 

 

 

"This is good exercise!" exclaimed one of the residents! "Maybe I can walk-off enough calories to take care of the cookies I'm going to consume when I win!"

 

 

 

 

"This is just one of the many activities that we plan to help our residents stay connected to the community and have an enjoyable day, here at Sulphur Springs Health and Rehab," advised staff members. "Everyone has a good time and they certainly enjoy the homemade cookies and cakes!"

Sulphur Springs Health and Rehab has a variety of activities planned in the upcoming weeks, including a "Back to School" drive, where they will be collecting school supplies for children in the Hopkins County area!
