Announces Plans For Homecoming
Week, Beginning September 10th

A busy week is planned at Sulphur Springs High School, beginning September 10th, as the annual Homecoming week begins. Eleven young ladies have been selected for the Homecoming Court and a week of pep rallies, parades, and celebration has been planned. The new Homecoming Queen will be crowned in pre-game activities, on Friday night, September 14th.
Selected for the 2007 Homecoming Court at SSHS include seniors Jenna Davis, Brittani Dillard, Kelsey Evans, Luz Hernandez, Kali Hood, Kourtney Hughes, D'Kota Hutchings, Shardee Jones, Dakesha Nash, Olivia Stribling, and Sarah Yosten.

A Homecoming Parade will be featured on Monday night, September 10th, at 7:00 p.m., on the Downtown Square in Sulphur Springs.

On Tuesday, September 11th, the Homecoming Court will be featured in a Media blitz, where they will be interviewed and pictures taken.
A large Pep Rally and presentation of the Homecoming Court will be featured in the SSHS Gym, on Thursday, September 13th, at 2:30 p.m.
Then, Pre-Game Activities begin at 6:40 p.m., on Friday night, September 14th, when the 2007 Homecoming Queen will be announced, following the selection by secret ballot, by the student body at SSHS.
The 2006 Homecoming Queen was Katie Watson.
