Drama Department Presents: "Addict"

It's the Sulphur Springs High School Drama Department's Drug Prevention and Awareness Program, that they will take to area schools as they hope to call attention to the use of drugs and alcohol, in our community. The production will begin with a public performance on Sunday afternoon, October 21st in the Hopkins County Regional Civic Center at 3:00 p.m.
Then, the cast will begin a traveling performance to local schools with an appearance at Sulphur Springs Middle School on Monday, October 22nd, with a morning performance beginning at 10:20 a.m. Tuesday they will be performing the production at the Civic Center for Sulphur Springs High School students at four performances.

Then, on Wednesday they will travel to both Saltillo High School and North Hopkins High School. The group will end their performances as they make an appearance at Como-Pickton School on Thursday morning.
The cast and crew do an outstanding job of portraying how easily it is to become addicted to drugs and alcohol and the progression of the addiction to a "point of no return." This is a performance that all local schools should see to bring awareness to the problem in our community.
