St. Jude Benefit Trailride
Planned for November 10th
by: Bobby McDonald
Organizers of the annual St. Jude Benefit Trailride, Lunch, and Auction are busy oiling harnesses, securing donations, and collecting supplies for the stew and chili, as they've set the date for Saturday, November 10th, at Two J Ranch, between Como and Pickton. "We'll be using our location on CR-2331 as the beginning and ending for the ride and for lunch," explained Jim Murray, one of the organizers and host for the event.

Murray encouraged everyone to mark their calendars and make plans to attend and benefit the children. A minimum donation of $10.00 provides lunch and there will be some wagon seats available to those who don't have horses to ride!
"This is helping St. Judes to fight children's cancer through research and is a worthy cause that we can benefit while out having fun!" continued Murray. "We want everyone to come out, have a great time and help children with catastrophic diseases!"
The gates will open at 7:00 a.m. on November 10th, with the trail ride begining at 10:00 a.m., lunch will be served when the riders return.

For information, contact: Murray at (903)488-3030.
Others helping to organize the event with Murray and his wife Jean, are: Cathi & Jim Wright, Sandy Billodeau, Junior Gregg, Don Meeks, Mike Mund, Mike Teer, Daniel Walker, and Gerald Wilburn.
