Planned for November 12th

Get the saddle oiled and plan to make your way to Como, on November 12th, for the second annual "Saddle Up For St. Jude" Trailride, hosted by Jim and Jean Murray and a host of friends. The event promises to be a wonderful day, with great weather, and plenty of stew, chili, and sausage to make the event a success and raise funds for the St. Jude's Research Hospital.

"Have you had to sell your horse because of the drought?" asked Jim Murray. "Well, don't let that stop you, we're going to be giving wagon rides with the fees going to help the kids at St. Jude!"

"We'll have a lot of wagons, many horsemen, and just those that come out and help raise funds for the cause," continued Murray. "It will be a great day of family fun, and the temperatures should be nice and cool by mid-November!"

Last year's event was a huge success and many more have promised to come and bring their horses this year, according to Murray. The gates will open at 7:00 a.m., with the actual trailride beginning at 9:30, leaving the grounds at 10:00, and arrive back at the Murray Farm in time for a delicious lunch!

"We're excited about hosting the event and invite all of our friends, neighbors, and fellow horsemen out to an enjoyable day," expressed Murray.

"The cooks have promised plenty of great food, ready for everyone, when they make it back in for lunch!" continued Murray.
