only to learn that they'd been "tanked," overnight!

The note left with the brightly painted, purple toilet said, "Look at your beautiful new yard decoration!" That's what owners and employees found in the front yard of the ABC Autoplex, on Tuesday morning, when they arrived at work. With a little investigation, they found the note and learned that one of their "friends" had nominated them to receive the purple toilet, as a fundraiser for Relay For Life!

The toilet fundraising effort was the "brainchild" of "The Potty Passers" Team, that includes: Holli Sawyer, Ashley McCracken, Lauren Burchfield, Cassie Fouse, Johna Burchfield, Angi Edwards, Donna Anders, Becca Venable, Dana Gilbreath, Kelly Pearson, Shannon Pennington, Jordyn Kearney, Amber Peevler, and Tanna Kearney.

 

 

If you're so "fortunate" to receive the toilet in your front yard, you can pay $10.00 to have it taken away. To take it away and have it sent to a "friend," the fee is $25.00, and to take it away, give it to a friend and never get it back (this year), a little bit of insurance, the fee is $50.00. Several folks are already finding out, that they have loads of "friends," and that the "insurance route," may be the best policy!

All donations go to The American Cancer Society, as part of the 2010 Relay For Life Fundraising efforts!
