Announces "Teacher of the Month" Awards

Who are the best teachers in Hopkins County? And, why? That's what Sulphur Springs Dodge-Chrysler-Jeep is trying to find out! They've begun a program that will bring a smile to those dedicated teachers, when they win the "Teacher of the Month" award and are presented a month's use of a vehicle from Sulphur Springs Dodge-Chrysler-Jeep!

"We want the teachers of Hopkins County to know how much we appreciate the service they give to our community," expressed Scot Nottingham, owner of Sulphur Springs Dodge-Chrysler-Jeep. "We all know that teaching is a calling! Teachers certainly aren't in the profession for the money, but it's because they love their work and love being an example for our children. So, we decided that this monthly award was a way to highlight those teachers that are extra special and are due some extra recognition!"

 

 

 

Sulphur Springs Dodge-Chrysler-Jeep will have a page up on Facebook by Monday, the opening of the first day of school in Hopkins County. And, they want you, your children, and anyone else in Hopkins County that sees something special that a teacher does, to go on the page and nominate the teacher and tell just what that teacher does for his/her students and in the classroom or school! "This is a chance for everyone to tell about those good deeds that teachers do," expressed Nottingham. "Many times our teachers go unheralded and this is the opportunity to tell everyone about what they do, from taking a special interest in a child, to offering creative ways to learn, or providing emotional support to students in need! The skies the limit and we want to hear about what our hardworking teachers of doing!"

The data from the page will be collected each month, and a "Teacher of the Month" named. That teacher will be presented with the keys to a vehicle, and use it for a month, compliments of Sulphur Springs Dodge-Chrysler-Jeep!

So, this is your opportunity to go on-line, nominate those special teachers and vote for them to receive this honor! Let's make sure that our local teachers are recognized for their outstanding performance in and out of the classrooms!
