"The Butler Did It, Singing" is a musical play based on Tim Kelly's book. Miss Maple invites detective writers to a creepy house on an island to play a "game" by her rules.

Miss. Maple organizes plots: a hairy face at the window that spooks Charity Haze, a so called escaped mad man, and there is no way to reach anyone outside the island.. Things start to turn drastically wrong when Rick Carlisle is poisoned and dies in the living room.

Chandler Marlowe takes things in his own hands and try's to solve the case making a mess of things. In the end, everyone has a secret to reveal and the killer turns out to be the last person you would expect.
