Tipping adds two of the local schools as the first additions to this week's 100% plus groups.

2012 United Way Campaign Chair, Judy Tipping, greeted her campaign workers on Tuesday morning, with a large "blue" heart, signifying calmness and inspiration for the campaign. "We're hopefully going to be over the half-way mark of the campaign today and I want each of you to know that seeing you walk through the door has a calming effect on me as the campaign chair," related Tipping, in making her weekly presentation. "Just knowing how many of you are out there working and collecting for the campaign serves as an inspiration to me and the other workers, who are striving for the $150,000.00 goal!"

Workers went around the room in an "upbeat" mood as they added "smiley faces" to this week's heart and told of many of the organizations and businesses exceeding their goals, at Tuesday's reporting meeting. And, a loud cheer erupted when it was announced that workers has brought in an additional $36,225.14 on Tuesday morning, to make the total campaign collection thus far at $81,775.14!

"That's outstanding!" shouted a jubilant Tipping.

Meanwhile, Lynda Hager, who is campaign chair for the local banks reported a great collection and drew for a number of monetary prizes for bank employees, who contributed to this year's campaign.

An excited Tipping shouts when the total for Tuesday was called out!

"Just keep on keeping on!" expressed Tipping, as she closed this week's meeting and announced that next week's meeting had been moved to Wednesday, so that it would not conflict with Election Day.
