Three More Make Donations
to Completion of Veterans' Memorial

It was a great day for the Veterans' Memorial Committee, on Wednesday, when three more local entities made contributions to the completion of the memorial. The day began with Discount Wheel and Tire and their employees, making a donation on Wednesday morning.

Then, on Wednesday afternoon, the Hopkins County Fall Festival Committee and Judge Robert Newsom and his family made additional contributions.

 

 

 

 

"We're getting close to reaching our initial construction goal," advised Committee member, Tommy Allison. "But, we'll have to have additional funds for upkeep, maintenance, and the engravaing of the next group of names that go on the wall!"

"We want to thank everyone for their generous donations to make this great, living memorial, a reality," expressed Clayton McGraw, Chairman of the Memorial Committee.

 

Judge Robert Newsom and his family made a donation, Wednesday afternoon.

 

The Fall Festival Committee made a contribution on Wednesday afternoon.
