Wildcats Lose Final Home Game of Season

The Sulphur Springs Wildcat Basketball Team is still looking for a win, this season, as they fell to T-High, 62-51, before the hometown crowd, on Friday night, in the last home game of the season. The Wildcats will travel to Royce City, on Tuesday night, February 14th, where they will finish their season.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Wildcats led the match-up by three points following the first period of play, and managed to tie T-High at 23-23, at the halftime intermission. However, a third quarter "slump" found the Cats trailing T-High by ten points, 40-30 at the end of the third period. The Wildcats scored an impressive 21 points in the fourth period by gave up 22 in the defensive effort, to lose the game.
