Wildcats Named to FCA "Heart of Champion" Team

Congratulations to the following football players for being selected to play
in the 2012 Fellowship Of Christian
Athletes "Heart of a Champion" Bowl Game on June 9, 2012 @ Longview's Lobo
Stadium.
Justin Owens - QB
Cody Clayton - WR
Reese Harred - OL
Eric Simmons - DE
Ethan Boatman - OL

Approximately 90 players were selected from Northeast Texas (Paris, Wills
Point, Nacogdoches, to the Louisiana border)

 

 

 

"It is a great honor for these young men to have been selected. They will do
a great job in representing our Community and School."

The game is played to benefit the East Texas FCA Chapter, which provides
support and encouragement for all of our East Texas kids.

Last year I had the honor of coaching in the game and it was a blast. I got
to meet a lot of great kids and work with some of the finest coaches in East
Texas. It was a great experience for me and everyone involved. The kids not
only get to play one more high school game, make new friends, but they also
get to be involved in community projects like boys and girls club during the
week of preparation. The game is financed by local community support. So
anyone wishing to help sponsor these young men and support the East Texas
