Wildcat Powerlifting Takes First Place
in Paris Tourney

The SSHS Powerlifting Team earned 1st Place again this past weekend at the
Paris Wildcat Invitational. All Members competed and 7 of 8 earned a medal.

The individual honors were:
Josue "The Man-Child" Leon - 1st Place - 114lbs - Earned Best Overall Lifter
as well - Currently ranked #1 in the Region Jesse Ortiz - 2nd Place - 114lbs
- Currently Ranked #2 in the Region Luis Gamez - 1st Place - 123lbs -
Currently Ranked #1 in the Region Sam Hammons - 1st Place - 132lbs -
Currently Tied for #2 in the Region

 

 

Johnathon Carlisle - 2nd Place - 165lbs
- Currently Ranked 3rd in the Region Trey Adair - 4th Place - 181lbs -
Currently Ranked 3rd in the Region.
Chase Cadena 1st Place - SHW (Super Heavy Weight) - Currently Ranked
#8 in the Region

They have one last tune up meet this weekend in Wolfe City and then its on to
Regionals in Lindale on March 3, 2012.
