A contact with Justice of the Peace, Yvonne King's office, on Friday morning, revealed some good news, regarding the tragic traffic accident, early Wednesday morning, on Highway-154. The driver of the pick-up truck, involved in the accident, has been identified as Kimberly Sherrill, and she was flown to a Tyler Hospital, via helicopter, from the scene. "We've received word that she has been released from the hospital," advised King.

Sherrill was driving the small Chevrolet truck, and swerved to miss a deer, in the roadway, overturning the vehicle, into the road ditch. Her passenger, 23 year old Jeremy Chase Hargrove, age 23, of Royce City, Texas, was thrown from the vehicle, where he landed in the middle of Highway 154. He was struck by an on-coming semi-tractor.

Sherrill and a fireman from Yantis, who were attempting to give aid to Hargrove, dove for the ditch, and avoided being overrun by the truck.

"At least we've been able to determine that the woman, will recover from her injuries," advised King. "It was a tragic, tragic accident, in a construction zone, that affected the lives of a number of people!"
