Yantis Owls and Lady Owls
Over Cumby, Friday Night

The Yantis Owls and Lady Owls both won their match-ups with the Cumby Trojans and Lady Trojans, in Yantis, Friday Night. The Owls defeated the Trojans in a narrow 41-38, while the Lady Owls took 36-33 win over the Lady Trojans to the locker room.

A fourth quarter scoring drive by the Trojans wasn't quite enough to claim victory for them, on Friday night. The Owls took an impressive 17-8 first quarter lead and added two more points in the basket, than the Trojans, to take a commanding 23-16 halftime lead. And, during the third quarter, the Owls outscored the Trojans by 4. However, a fourth quarter drive, where the Trojans outscored the Owls 15-8, lacked three points making it a tie ballgame.
